COVID-19 and your congregation

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is home to believers from all over Southwest Virginia, from infants to seniors, kids to college students, and everyone in between. We serve shut-ins and people who travel for work. We regard our diverse membership as a reflection of Christian community. However, our calling is also to safeguard life and health, especially for the most vulnerable members of society.

That said, we continue to meet to hear the Word and receive the Sacraments. The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) has published some guidelines for dealing with this pandemic. As always, we continue to pray to the Lord for His guidance and healing for those afflicted.
